Academic integrity policy summary
At Westfield College, we are committed to maintaining policies that support the safety, well-being, and success of our students and community. These policies cover a range of areas, including academic integrity, student conduct, and campus safety.
One of our key policies is our academic integrity policy, which sets out the expectations and standards that we have for our students in terms of honesty and ethical behaviour in their academic work. We believe that academic integrity is essential to the integrity of our educational programs and to the credibility of our students’ accomplishments. Our policy outlines the types of behaviours that are considered violations of academic integrity, such as plagiarism and cheating, and it explains the consequences for students who are found to be in violation of these standards.
Student Conduct Policy importance
We also have a student conduct policy, which outlines the expectations for behaviour that we have for our students both on and off campus. This policy covers a range of behaviours, from disrespectful or disruptive behaviour in the classroom to more serious offences such as harassment or assault.
