The abilities and information acquired by learners will enable them to evaluate policies, suggest policy modifications, and comprehend the legal and regulatory context of occupational health and safety regulations. The knowledge and abilities that learners gain will be pertinent to implementing policies, using management tools, resources, managing risks and incidents, and developing leadership, management, and skill sets. Entry Requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 6 Online Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, learners must possess:
- Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF certificate or diploma or equivalent recognised qualification at L3 or above
- Mature learners (over 21 years of age) with practical experience of at least 2 years

Progression
The Level 6 Online Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety degree gives graduates the academic know-how, comprehension, and abilities to pursue competency in a variety of Occupational Health and Safety professions. In order to grant all certificated students the ability to become IOSH Graduate members, OTHM is now submitting an application to have the certification recognised as mapping to the IOSH criteria. The Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), which approves and regulates this qualification, allows learners to achieve direct entry into appropriate Master’s degree programmes.
