Equivalences
Level 7 diplomas are located on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) and are recognised as being at the same level as Master’s degrees. However, they are shorter (120 credits), which means learners will have to proceed to the dissertation stage (60 credits) with an appropriate university to achieve a full Master’s qualification.

For UK students: you can apply for a non-means-tested government master’s loan.
Entry requirements:
2:2 honours degree and above or equivalent – from a recognised institution.
English language: IELTS Level 6.5 or above with no element below 6.0 (or equivalent).

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Data Science qualification, learners must possess:
- An honours degree in related subject or UK level 6 diploma or an equivalent overseas qualification
- Mature learners with management experience (learners must check with the delivery centre regarding this experience prior to registering for the programme)
- Learner must be 21 years old or older at the beginning of the course
