ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Law
Overview:
The ATHE Level 4 Extended Online Diploma in Law is a 120-credit qualification regulated by Ofqual that is equivalent to the first year of a university degree. It is intended for students who want to go on to university and, when combined with the ATHE Level 5 Extended Online Diploma in Law, allows students to progress onto an LLB top-up degree programme (the final year of university). ATHE Level 4 Online Diploma in Law is available at WFC College.

Tuition fees and funding:
Total course cost is £10,250 split equally across the duration of your course (full and part-time).
For UK students: you can apply for a non-means-tested government master’s loan.
Entry requirements:
2:2 honours degree and above or equivalent – from a recognised institution.
English language: IELTS Level 6.5 or above with no element below 6.0 (or equivalent).

Learners must complete four units in order to earn the 120 credits required for the Level 4 Extended Diploma in Law.

Progression
There are several options for advancement after completing a Level 4 Online Diploma in Law.

Part time option one

Study for a degree whilst fitting it around your work, care and other life commitments.

You’ll study 6 modules per year (approx. 25 hrs/week).
Part time option two
- 12 to 18 months
Take time to study and spread the tuition fees over a longer period – at no extra cost.

You’ll study 4–5 modules per year (approx. 19 hrs/week).
