Overview:
The OTHM Online Level 6 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is designed to prepare learners for managing health and safety practises and policies in organisations where they currently hold senior positions or who aspire to do so. The abilities and information acquired by learners will enable them to evaluate policies, suggest policy modifications, and comprehend the legal and regulatory context of occupational health and safety regulations. The knowledge and abilities that learners gain will be pertinent to implementing policies, using management tools, resources, managing risks and incidents, and developing leadership, management, and skill sets. Total course cost is £10,250 split equally across the duration of your course (full and part-time).
For UK students: you can apply for a non-means-tested government master’s loan.
Entry requirements:
2:2 honours degree and above or equivalent – from a recognised institution.
English language: IELTS Level 6.5 or above with no element below 6.0 (or equivalent).

Entry Requirements
For entry onto the OTHM Level 6 Online Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, learners must possess:
- Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF certificate or diploma or equivalent recognised qualification at L3 or above
- Mature learners (over 21 years of age) with practical experience of at least 2 years
- English requirements: If a learner is not from a majority English-speaking country must provide evidence of English language competency. For more information visit English Language Expectations page.

Progression
The Level 6 Online Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety degree gives graduates the academic know-how, comprehension, and abilities to pursue competency in a variety of Occupational Health and Safety professions. In order to grant all certificated students the ability to become IOSH Graduate members, OTHM is now submitting an application to have the certification recognised as mapping to the IOSH criteria. The Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual), which approves and regulates this qualification, allows learners to achieve direct entry into appropriate Master’s degree programmes.
